El presidente de este colectivo, Jesús Hernández, añadió que «se perdería parte de nuestra cultura como pueblo».
Por su parte, el lloctinent general del Capítulo de Caballeros Jurados, José Francisco Ballester-Olmos, consideró que el retoque del ninot no sería suficiente «porque hay muchos elementos que identifican al santo, desde la corona, a la filacteria, la biblia, el hábito dominico y la mano en alto.
