Las fiestas de Elda sirven un año más como recurso de promoción de la ciudad con fines turísticos, para ello el pasado fin de semana, se desplazaba hasta Madrid AnaBel Rico Pérez, Fallera Mayor de Elda, junto a sus Damas de Honor, Patricia Beltrán Gonzálbez y María Gisbert Candela, acompañadas de la Presidenta de Junta Central de Fallas, Chelo Moya. El grupo viajó en compañía de las representantes festeras de otras localidades alicantinas, invitadas por el Patronato de Turismo Costa Blanca, dependiente de la Diputación alicantina.
Durante su estancia, la Fallera Mayor y sus acompañantes, luciendo su traje oficial, tuvieron ocasión de recorrer el recinto ferial despertando la curiosidad del público con su elegante atuendo. El grupo era requerido constantemente para ser fotografiado, interesándose muchas personas por conocer las características y fechas de estas fiestas.
De nuevo las fallas eldenses muestran su cara más amable y contribuyen a difundir el nombre de Elda y su fiesta.
