El único monumento del mundo elaborado con arroz se viste de rosa contra el cáncer
El único monumento fabricado con arroz del mundo, que representa una mujer portando una paella, luce esta semana un pañuelo rosa como apoyo a la labor de la Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer de Valencia (aeccValencia) en la lucha contra el cáncer.
Con este guiño solidario, se pretende concienciar a los ciudadanos sobre la importancia de recaudar fondos para la prevención, diagnóstico precoz e investigación de uno de los tumores, el de mama, de mayor incidencia entre las mujeres.
La estatua, de más de dos metros de altura confeccionada con 80 kilos de arroz, está ubicada en el Mercado Central de Valencia y es una iniciativa de la firma arrocera de Silla, Arroz La Fallera, y del escultor valenciano Martí Moreno.
