El diputat de Medi Ambient de la Diputació de València Josep Bort ha mantingut una reunió de treball amb el director del departament d’Arbres Monumentals d’Imelsa, Bernabé Moya, i amb el tècnic d’aquest departament, José Moya, per a analitzar els diferents projectes que es preveu posar en marxa per a la conservació de la massa forestal de les comarques valencianes.
Durant la trobada s’ha tractat la publicació d’un estudi en la revista internacional Journal of Environmental Managementque dóna respostes al comportament d’una plantació de 946 xiprers durant un incendi en el qual mentre que la resta de la vegetació es calcinava només es va cremar l’1,27% dels xiprers.
