Cal recordar que al II Congrés Faller celebrat al més de març i després de varios mesos de reunions, l’Estatut que regula l’elecció i els actes de les Falleres Majors del poble de Bétera va ser aprovat. Per tant, estes candidates són les primeres que opten a representar al poble de Bétera i al seu món faller després de cinc anys de funcionament de la Junta Local Fallera.
Serà a finals de maig quan les candidates passaran un dia sencer junt amb el jurat els quals valoraran la manera en la que desfilen vestides de valenciana així com la seua expressió i soltura davant d’un futur públic a més de ser sotmeses a una entrevista personal, entre d’altres criteris de selecció. En finalitzar la jornada el jurat es reunirá a l’Ajuntament per tal de fer entrega a la Junta Local Fallera del sobre tancat i signat el qual contindrà l’elecció de les primeres màximes representats de la festa fallera. Acte seguit, l’Alcalde de Bétera, com a president nat de la JLF, telefonarà a les elegides per donar-lis l’enhorabona.
