Cada any, els veïns del carrer Sant Pere, en el barri de Baix la Mar, es reunixen per a celebrar la festivitat del seu patró. Els festejos estan organitzats per una comissió de festes composta pels veïns i presidida per José Álvarez Jiménez. Les festes del carrer Sant Pere van ser l’origen de la celebració dels famosos bous a la mar de Dénia.
