Ricardo Macián prepara el cortometraje documental En clave de Ortifus, que llevará a la pantalla grande al prestigioso dibujante valenciano Antonio Ortiz Fuster, “Ortifus”, referente en el mundo de la viñeta de carácter crítico y social.
La película será financiada en gran parte mediante un crowdfunding que ya está disponible en la plataforma de micromecenazgo online Verkami donde, entre otras atractivas recompensas, los mecenas encontrarán un ninot que el artista ha diseñado, en exclusiva, para la ocasión.
Macián dirigió anteriormente los largometrajes de carácter documental Los ojos de Ariana (2007) y Tierra sin mal (2011).
El filme repasará la trayectoria del dibujante y celebrará también un acontecimiento importante: este año el artista se reincorpora al mundo de las Fallas valencianas como diseñador y guionista de uno de los monumentos de la Sección Especial, Na Jordana, justo cuando se cumplían 14 años desde su última obra en este ámbito. La cinta combinará animación con realidad.
La productora del cortometraje, Xerea Films, estrenó el pasado año el exitoso documental Fallas 37. El arte en guerra dirigido por Óscar Martín y narrado por José Sacristán, que fue preseleccionado para los Premios Goya.
La cinta cuenta con el apoyo de la revistas Cendra y Actualidad Fallera, la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón y el diario Levante-EMV.
