El Colectivo fallero de la ciudad de Valencia, encabezado por la Junta Central Fallera, y en particular, por su delegación de deportes, recibirán el próximo domingo, con motivo de la celebración del XXII Día de la Pelota Valenciana, el premio especial de promoción de nuestro deporte autóctono.
Premio bien merecido, ya que el campeonato fallero, se ha convertido ya en todo un clásico al cap i casal. Cientos de falleros son los que domingo tras domingo compiten dentro de este campeonato.
El próximo domingo, el mundo fallero estará presente en todas las zonas habilitadas en la Plaza del Ayuntamiento, ya sean lúdicas, deportivas o también en la zona de entrega de premios.
A lo largo de la mañana, en la calle Arzobispo Mayoral (detrás del Ayuntamiento), disputarán una serie de partidas de exhibición entre las diferentes fallas confirmadas, que son, en categoría senior: Carrera San Luis / Avda, Dr. Waksman, Acacias/Picayo, García Lorca/Olida, Camino Nuevo de Picanya / Nicolau Primitivo, y en infantiles: Carrera San Luis / Avda, Dr. Waksman, Acacias/Picayo, Costa y Borràs/ Agustina de Aragón y Norte / Dr.Zamenhoff.
Además, a partir de las 10.00 horas, pero en este caso, a la misma Plaza del Ayuntamiento, una selección fallera jugará una partida también de exhibición contra un combinado del CESPIVA (Centro de Especialización de Pelota Valenciana). Por parte del combinado fallero están convocados: Vicente Belenguer, Jose Tendero, Julián Bermejo, Miguel Ochando, Pablo Salvador, José Ramón Barrios y Paco Suriàn.
Aparte de estas actividades, también han confirmado hasta el momento la participación en el concurso de Bancas un total de 30 falleros.
