Valencia, 22 feb (EFE).- El PSPV considera «insuficientes» los 230 sanitarios portátiles que se tiene previsto colocar en las diferentes calles de Valencia con motivo de las fiestas de Fallas para atender a los «más de un millón» de personas que congregará estos días la ciudad.
En un comunicado, esta formación ha lamentado, además, que el equipo de Gobierno municipal «no tome medidas para evitar que los malos olores y la suciedad se adueñen de las calles» durante las fiestas.
La concejala del grupo socialista en el Ayuntamiento de Valencia Pilar Calabuig ha afirmado al respecto que «la falta de previsión siempre sale cara», y ha señalado que el PP «no ha aprendido en estos 24 años» porque «todos los años repite los mismos errores», que se traduce en «una ciudad sucia» y que «traslada una mala imagen».
Según ha aseverado, el equipo de Gobierno es «incapaz de hacer frente a los retos más importantes de la ciudad en los momentos clave», y ha recordado «los 7.000 urinarios portátiles que se colocaron» durante la visita del Papa, con motivo del Encuentro Mundial de las Familias.
«Las cifras hablan por sí solas», ha denunciado Calabuig, para quien «un urinario por cada 6.000 personas es algo ridículo».
Asimismo, ha criticado que, del total de sanitarios que se instalarán durante las fiestas josefinas, «sólo quince estén habilitados para personas con discapacidad
