En la noche del viernes 7 de junio y rodeados de falleros, amigos y familiares se eligió a los máximos representantes de la Falla Yecla – Cardenal Benlloch para el ejercicio 2013-2014.
La noche comenzó con una cena en nuestro casal para, a continuación, comenzar con el acto tan esperado por mucha gente.
Nuestro presidente, Vicente Faura Herraiz, acompañado por nuestros representantes de 2013: Miriam Faura Bustos, Alberto Encinar Herrero y Beatriz Villanueva Castellote, comenzó el acto con el nombramiento del Presidente Infantil para el ejercicio 2014, que será Carlos Ventura Gómez.
Posteriormente se dio lectura a las cartas de las candidatas a Fallera Mayor Infantil, las niñas Beatriz San Andres Castellote, Judith Pinto García, Elena Valbuena Miralles e Imma Gascón Molina.
Para realizar el sorteo, como es costumbre en la comisión, se utiliza una copa en la que se introducen los nombres de las candidatas, y fue nuestra FMI de 2013, Miriam, la encargada de coger el papel con el nombre de la afortunada, que este año fue Beatriz San Andres Castellote.
Para terminar de completar nuestro cuadro de honor, Vicente procedió a leer las cartas de las candidatas a Fallera Mayor, que fueron las señoritas Cristina García Anguita, Lucia Anton Manzana y Mar Valls Ramón.
Para comenzar el sorteo, al igual que en la elección de FMI, se preparó la copa con los nombres de las candidatas, con la diferencia de que al haber dos candidatas (Cristina y Lucia) que ya se presentaron al cargo en el ejercicio anterior contaron con dos papeles con su nombre cada una.
Beatriz, como FM de 2013, fue la encargada de coger el papel y dar a conocer el nombre de su sucesora, que será Cristina García Anguita.
Tras unas palabras de despedida de nuestros representantes de 2013, que tan bien han ejercido su cargo y tan orgullosos nos han hecho sentir, y las palabras de quienes nos representarán en 2014, llenas de agradecimiento y emoción, se procedió a la firma de los contratos con los artistas falleros para el nuevo ejercicio. Santiago Parrado Dobon para el monumento infantil y Alfredo Bernat Cano para el monumento mayor. Ambos ya plantaron en nuestra demarcación el pasado ejercicio.
Así mismo, se firmó también el contrato con la Xaranga Ma Que Xorra, que este año se estrenan en nuestra comisión y que seguro nos harán disfrutar durante toda la semana fallera.
También se comunicó que por cuarto año consecutivo continuaremos contando con el trabajo de la Pirotecnia Martí, que no pudo asistir al acto.
Desde nuestra comisión esperamos que juntos disfrutemos un maravilloso ejercicio 2014.
