Les Falles de 2014 seran a tot color. Així ho mostra el cartell guanyador del IX Concurs organitzat per Junta Local Fallera per a trobar la seua imatge per a les pròximes festes josefines. Caixa Rural patrocina el premi de 600 euros al millor cartell que enguany ha recaigut en l’artista Sergio Alcañiz, un jove de 23 anys i al seu torn artista faller infantil de reconegut prestigi.
La mostra de cartells compta amb 22 exemplars, el doble de participació de l’any passat, la qual cosa mostra l’interés per este concurs que es va recuperar fa dos anys per part de la Junta Local Fallera de Torrent. L’exposició de cartells es pot contemplar en l’Espai, edifici Metro, fins al divendres en horari de matins i vesprada, fins a les 20.30 hores. (Av. al Vedat 103 2n pis).
El delegat de Cultura, Modest Muñoz, el de Joventut, Javier Noguera i les Falleres Majors de Torrent de 2014, Beatriz Fernández i Mireia Galán, junt amb el secretari del Consell d’Administració de Caixa Rural, José Antonio Carratalà van fer entrega del premi al guanyador.
El jove artista ha declarat que ha sigut “una bogeria, però hi ha valgut la pena que “FESTIVAL DE FOC» haja sigut triat com a cartell anunciador de les Falles de Torrent. Em vaig arriscar a tornar a presentar-me a un concurs de cartells anunciadors, però d’una forma més personal, amb les virtuts i defectes que això ocasiona”-ha comentat Alcañiz, qui al seu torn ha afegit- “volia anunciar de forma alegre i representativa a Torrent, representant la labor humana del faller, obrint i anunciant l’arribada de la festa en la població en forma de foc”- ha apuntat l’artista.
Esta mostra forma part de la I Setmana Cultural de la Junta Local Fallera de Torrent que contínua hui en la sala d’exposicions de Caixa Rural (Av al Vedat, 3 baix) amb la presentació dels projectes de les 29 falles de Torrent. Els artistes mostraran el secret millor guardat i que podrem veure en els carrers de la ciutat el pròxim 15 de març. A continuació tindrà lloc una xarrada sobre modelatge digital en el món faller, a càrrec dels artistes Chuky i Gomz. Serà a partir de les 20.30 hores.
