La que hoy ha disparado ha sido una mascletà muy especial para la Pirotecnia Gori de Mislata, que en este año 2013 cumple su 50 aniversario y su Gerente, Gregorio Juan Moreno, ha anunciado que se retira y que esta será, por tanto, la última mascletà que dispare en la Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
Gori, gerente de la empresa fundada en 1963 por Gregorio Juan Requeni, se ha despedido de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento con una mascletà de corte tradicional en la que ha empleado 119.475 kilos de masa reglamentada. Ha dado comienzo con cinco partes de fuego aéreo de gran potencia, seguidas de cinco partes mecanizadas terrestres y aéreas y un terremoto final acompañado de bombardeo aéreo, todo con una gran intensidad sonora.
Como curiosidad hay que señalar que Pirotecnia Gori es una de las pocas que continua disparando a mano sus tradicionales espectáculos, sin cables ni efectos especiales, y hoy ha sido el propio Gori quien ha encendido a mano cada una de las fases. También hay que destacar que desde el año 1971 Gori dispara en coincidencia con el primer domingo de marzo.
Además de las Falleras Mayores de Valencia, Begoña Jiménez y Carla González, y el Concejal Delegado de Fiestas y Cultura Popular, Francisco Lledó, hoy hay que destacar la presencia en el balcón de una nutrida representación de Mislata, encabezada por el Alcalde de esta población, Carlos Fernández Bielsa, y los miembros de la Junta Local, que han querido acompañar a Gori en un día tan especial e importante y compartir el triunfo que ha obtenido en su despedida de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
