– Los alumnos exponen sus trabajos en una muestra que permanecerá hasta el 30 de junio
Ayer tuvo lugar la inauguración del final de curso de los alumnos de la escuela del Gremio de Sastres y Modistas de la Comunidad Valenciana en el Centro de Artesanía CV. Una exposición que estará abierta al público hasta el 30 de junio y que estuvo presidida por el Maestro Mayor del Gremio, Fran Tochena.
En esta especial ocasión el Gremio y sus alumnos contaron con la presencia del Director General de Comercio y Consumo, Natxo Costa, y del Director del Centro de Artesanía, Miquel Clemades, que destacaron la labor de la institución por la enseñanza, promoción y puesta en valor de la artesanía y el oficio.
Desde hace más de 20 años en la escuela del Gremio Artesano de Sastres y Modistas se forman las nuevas generaciones de la aguja con clases de patronaje, costura, indumentaria valenciana, indumentaria tradicional, sastrería, diseño o bordados. Estos jóvenes modistas salen de la escuela con un perfil muy completo, siendo capaces de patronar, cortar y coser gracias a profesores de la talla de Susi Horcajo, Diego Orzáez, Ana Urango, Julio Vera, Teresa Sanz, Rosa Sanchis, Juan Carlos Cañabate, Juan Carlos Pitarch, Fran Tochena o Francisco Zanón.
Todo lo aprendido durante sus estudios queda plasmado en esta exposición donde hasta el más mínimo detalle ha sido confeccionado por los propios alumnos. Una muestra que evidencia que la costura artesana no ha pasado de moda, encontramos trajes de todo tipo desde fiesta hasta indumentaria tradicional valenciana e interesantes cortes y patrones.
En la escuela del Gremio, sus alumnos aprenden todo lo necesario para ser reclamados incluso antes de terminar su segundo año de estudios, gracias a su bolsa de trabajo.
