La conselleria de Sanitat, la ONG Controla Club y la Junta Central Fallera han presentado la campaña «Por unas Fallas seguras y responsables«, dirigida a promover la concienciación sobre los peligros asociados al consumo abusivo de alcohol durante las fallas, así como de otras sustancias.
Al acto de presentación de la campaña han asistido el conseller de Sanitat, Manuel Llombart, el presidente de Controla Club, Vicente Pizcueta, la Fallera Mayor de Valencia, Begoña Jiménez, y el Concejal de Fiestas y Presidente de la Junta Central Fallera, Francisco Lledó.
Tal y como ha destacado el conseller, Manuel Llombart, «el objetivo de la campaña, promovida desde tres organizaciones diferentes, es sensibilizar tanto a los jóvenes como a sus padres, de la importancia de disfrutar de una fiesta de forma sana y responsable. Durante estos días algunos jóvenes acceden a los primeros consumos de alcohol y esto provoca una asociación entre el alcohol y la fiesta que no es responsable, además de provocar situaciones de riesgo, como intoxicaciones o accidentes de tráfico y pirotécnicos».
En esta línea, la campaña busca una concienciación acerca de los peligros y problemas que provoca el consumo abusivo de alcohol en el contexto fallero, ya que las intoxicaciones agudas pueden derivar en un coma etílico no exento de gravedad. También se señala que hay que pensar en las consecuencias que se derivan, bajo los efectos de sustancias como incremento de la violencia, conducción peligrosa, caídas o accidentes de tráfico, incluso accidentes pirotécnicos de gravedad.
Tal y como reflejan los datos de la conselleria de Sanitat sobre drogodependencias, las drogas más consumidas entre los jóvenes de 14 a 18 años son el alcohol, el tabaco y el cannabis. Así, en la Comunitat un 78.4% ha tomado bebidas alcohólicas alguna vez, un 61.9% se ha emborrachado alguna vez, un 41.3% ha probado el tabaco y un 38.9% el cannabis. La proporción de consumidores actuales de estas sustancias, es decir, aquellos que las han consumido en los 30 días previos a las entrevistas que se han realizado, es de un 64.8% en el caso del alcohol, del 27.4% para el tabaco, y del 21.6% para el cannabis. La edad media de inicio para el alcohol y el tabaco se sitúa entre los 13 y los 14 años, mientras que para el cannabis se sitúa cercana a los 15 años.
Frente a estos datos, Sanitat y Controla Club han presentado hoy la Guía de Consejos Prácticos por unas Fallas Seguras y Responsables. Manuel Llombart ha destacado que «son una serie de actuaciones promovidas con un único objetivo, que todos disfrutemos de unas Fallas donde la diversión, la seguridad, y la responsabilidad sean la nota dominante».
Con respecto a la utilización de los petardos, la guía alerta sobre la peligrosidad de los mismos y la tolerancia cero con los accidentes que pueden provocar si no se guardan, transportan y manipulan de forma segura y evitando siempre hacerlo bajo los efectos del alcohol. Sobre las motos, la guía reclama la necesidad de respetar las normas de circulación, los cortes de tráfico y la utilización del casco.
El año pasado fue la primera vez que se editó y este año se ha diseñado de nuevo con las recomendaciones y consejos que ha aportado desde el mundo fallero. Este cartel se va a distribuir en las Comisiones Falleras (hay cerca de 400), así como a través de las redes sociales especializadas en el mundo fallero.
Décimo aniversario de los Premios Falleros Controla Club
Dado que durante las Fallas se producen las primeras salidas nocturnas de los jóvenes, Sanitat incide en la prevención, tanto el ámbito escolar como en el familiar y el comunitario, como es las Fallas. Así, este año 2013 se conmemora el Décimo aniversario de la creación de los Premios Falleros Controla Club, que están incluidos oficialmente dentro de los galardones de Junta Central Fallera.
Estos galardones están destinados a premiar a aquellas fallas que mejor aborden la problemática de los consumos de alcohol y otras drogas. Así se van a otorgar dos premios: el primero de 600 euros y el segundo de 200 euros.
Durante todos estos años han participado en el concurso más de 120 Comisiones Falleras en sus diferentes ediciones, destacando especialmente las comisiones de Pintor Salvador Abril – Av. Peris y Valero (ganadora del premio en 2007 y 2008) y Ramiro de Maeztu-Humanista Furió (ganador de la primera edición en 2004 y que ha obtenido después tres segundos premios).
