La Asociación ‘Cant d’Estil Valencià‘ ha visitado esta mañana al arzobispo de Valencia, monseñor Carlos Osoro, para ofrecerle “albaes” con motivo de la celebración del 9 d’Octubre, día de la Comunitat Valenciana, el próximo miércoles.
El canto de ‘albaes‘ al Arzobispo ha tenido lugar en Palacio Arzobispal y posteriormente han visitado la Basílica de la Virgen, según han indicado fuentes de la entidad.
Los miembros de la asociación han desarrollado hoy una ronda de visitas por diferentes entidades del centro de la ciudad, “como tienen costumbre hacer el domingo previo al 9 d’Octubre”, han añadido.
La Asociación “Cant d’Estil Valencià” tienen como objetivos “defender, mantener y promover el reconocimiento que merecen los cantos más característicos y representativos de la tradición cultural valenciana”.
