Las Falleras Mayores y los Presidentes de Alboraya se reunieron el pasado domingo, 18 de febrero, en la Plaza del Carmen para dar inicio a las Fallas Inclusivas 2018 en el popular acto de la Crida. Acompañados por sus falleros y falleras, los máximos representantes de las siete comisiones que componen la tradición de las fiestas josefinas de la localidad se presentaron públicamente en esta cita, organizada por el Ayuntamiento de Alboraya y la Junta Local Fallera, creando un ambiente festivo que pudo ser disfrutado por los vecinos y las vecinas del municipio.
Esta edición de las fiestas contó con diversas novedades encaminadas a garantizar el disfrute de todos los habitantes. En este sentido, se dispuso de una zona habilitada para personas con discapacidad y se contó con la presencia en el escenario de una intérprete de lenguaje de signos. Ya más enfocado a añadir contenido a las Fallas, desde la concejalía de Fiestas de Susana Cazorla y la Junta Local Fallera también se impulsó la iniciativa de bailes regionales por los grupos de danza de las comisiones Palmaret y Rei en Jaume, una actividad que fue muy aplaudida entre los presentes.
Un año más, las Falleras Mayores invitaron a los asistentes a disfrutar de las fiestas, sin excepción. En la misma línea habló el alcalde de Alboraya, Miguel Chavarría, quien recalcó que por ese motivo desde el Ayuntamiento se ha y se está trabajando en hacer de las fallas unas fiestas inclusivas. Además, señaló la importancia de estos días, asegurando que las calles de Alboraya «se llenarán con la alegría de plasmar el espíritu imaginativo de nuestra identidad» y que gracias a ello se mostrará una vez más que el municipio es «una magnífica ciudad de acogida».
Al finalizar el acto, los asistentes acudieron a la Casa del Conde de Zanoguera, el emblemático edificio de Alboraya que durante estas semanas acoge la exposición del ninot. Hasta allí se desplazaron los máximos representantes de las Fallas de Alboraya, el alcalde de Alboraya, Miguel Chavarría, y la concejala de Fiestas, Susana Cazorla, quienes inauguraron la exhibición. A la misma vez, el Ayuntamiento repartió horchata entre los presentes, aprovechando el buen tiempo que acompañó a la celebración fallera.
