La Diputación de Valencia, a través de su departamento de Medio Ambiente, eliminó en 2014 riesgos geológicos en 13 municipios con el objetivo de garantizar la seguridad ciudadana además de retener la erosión del terreno y crear elementos paisajísticos mediante la regeneración de las zonas deterioradas.
Así, a través del programa de Minimización de Riesgos Geológicos 2014, con una partida de 850.000 euros, los municipios han estabilizado taludes, han reducido el riesgo de desprendimiento sobre viviendas y carreteras y han evitado derrumbes de caminos.
