El sábado día 2 de febrero, la Falla Cervantes i Pare Jofré se reunió en el Casal de la falla para celebrar el acto de presentación de los monumentos falleros para el presente ejercicio 2013. El acto estuvo presidido por nuestras Falleras Mayores, Eva María y Bárbara, y sus Presidentes, Pedro y Camilo.
Más de 80 personas, entre asistentes invitados, falleros y organizadores, arroparon en el Casal este acto tan esperado por todos.
Por tercer año consecutivo, se comenzó con un reconocimiento expreso a los artistas que plantaron con nosotros el pasado ejercicio, mediante un video que resumió en 2,30 minutos la plantà de 2012, subida del remate y recogida del ninot.
Acto seguido, y por cuarto año consecutivo, dimos paso a un video de presentación de todo un año de trabajo en el taller de nuestros artistas Mario Gual y Juan Lluch.

“Todo al rojo” es el lema que Mario Gual presentó para la falla grande. Lema que se identifica plenamente en el vivir de cada día, a nuestra ya debilitada y noqueada sociedad de consumo, que nos lleva al reducto de buscar la deseada suerte en el juego, para ir tapando agüjeros, grietas, socabones y cómo no, ir pagando la hipoteca.

Un trabajo que nos adelantó de la mano del boceto y maqueta en miniatura de esta gran obra: formas atrevidas e innovadoras con fuerte expresividad, una apuesta ambiciosa y ganadora, que muy pronto veremos plantada en nuestra demarcación.
Por su parte, Juan Lluch presentó su proyecto “Zoo family” para el monumento infantil a través del boceto y una figura de la falla. La expresión del rostro de sus pequeños ninots denota sensibilidad, cariño, sosiego, fantasía e ilusiones, dando un toque de dulzura, cariño e inocencia.
Algunas de sus figuras, sobre todo las centrales, son estilizadas, buscando la luz y el espacio, dando sentido a esa imaginación tan abierta que posee. Un trabajo brillante que deslumbra y reluce en su propia luz y que encantó a nuestra fallera mayor infantil y presidente infantil, Bárbara y Camilo, y a todos los presentes.
