La Comisión de la Falla Palleter-Erudit Orellana de Valencia presentó ayer en la Casa América de Madrid su calendario solidario 2018-2019 cuyos fondos irán destinados a la investigación del Cáncer de Mama. En concreto, el dinero recaudado, se donará al proyecto “Cáncer de mama triple negativo” que dirige la Dra. Lluch en Incliva.a
Ha presentado el acto la periodista Inés Balleter junto al fotógrafo Víctor Cucart, padrinos del proyecto y han contado con el apoyo de algunos de los famosos protagonistas del calendario como Vicente del Bosque, Elsa Anka, y Ana Cuesta.
Proyecto Plantar la Esperanza, apoya la investigación
En su 50 aniversario la Falla Palleter-Erudito Orellana ha querido asumir la responsabilidad de esta fiesta declarada Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad y lo celebra llevando a cabo un proyecto solidario para la lucha contra el Cáncer de Mama y sensibilizando sobre la importancia de la investigación sanitaria.
Esto ha motivado la realización de un calendario solidario que ha contado con la colaboración desinteresada del reconocido fotógrafo Víctor Cucart. En este proyecto han participado 12 mujeres afectadas por Cáncer de Mama junto con rostros conocidos de la talla de Francis Montesinos, Paola Dominguín, Blas Cantó, Amaya Valdemoro, Elisa Aguilar, Vicente del Bosque, David Meca, Almudena Cid, Elsa Anka, Chema Martínez, Rafa Sahuquillo, Ana Cuesta y Maxim Huerta.
Todas las fotos de este calendario transmiten optimismo y pretenden recordarnos que con investigación hay esperanza. Colaborar con la compra de este calendario es buscar soluciones para una enfermedad que nos afecta a todos, tanto pacientes como familiares y amigos. Estará a la venta a partir del 19 de febrero en la página web “www.plantarlaesperanza.es” y en la red de tiendas Benetton de la Comunidad Valenciana por el precio de 10€.
Hay que promover la investigación impulsando un cambio de la Ley de Mecenazgo
Plantar la Esperanza va más allá de recaudar fondos y está promoviendo la recogida de firmas para solicitar un cambio de la Ley de Mecenazgo en el Parlamento que favorezca la investigación. Esta inquietud ha dado pie a una mesa redonda donde se ha debatido sobre los modelos de financiación de la investigación en la que han participado, por parte de Incliva, la reputada oncóloga e investigadora Ana Lluch, su Director Económico Vicente de Juan y la oncóloga Tania Fleitas.
Ana Lluch ha reclamado una Ley de Mecenazgo que colabore de forma subsidiaria con los recursos públicos, con “el fin de dotar de recursos suficientes a la investigación e impulsar grandes avances en el campo sanitario”. Por su parte, Vicente de Juan ha puesto de manifiesto que España es uno de los países donde la legislación menos favorece las donaciones: “las donaciones económicas de particulares sólo desgrava un 15% en la declaración de Hacienda, mientras que en otros países europeos como Alemania pueden deducirse hasta el 100% de lo aportado”.
Desde Incliva se ha lanzado el testigo a los responsables políticos para que promuevan un marco legal más favorable a la investigación y la Administración Publica adquiera un mayor compromiso presupuestario en temas de I+D+i.
La Dra. Ana Lluch, una vida dedicada a la investigación del cáncer de mama
La Dra. Ana Lluch, reconocida como la mejor oncóloga de España según el primer monitor de reputación sanitaria (MRS), es la investigadora principal del Grupo de Biología en cáncer de mamá de Incliva al que van destinados los fondos recaudados por el proyecto Plantar la Esperanza.
Pertenece al Grupo Español de Investigación en Cáncer de Mama (GEICAM) y al grupo SOLTI participando en el desarrollo de numerosos ensayos clínicos a nivel nacional e internacional. El Grupo de Investigación que dirige la Dra. Lluch desarrolla líneas de trabajo punteras en España profundizando en las bases genéticas y genómicas del cáncer de mama y en la búsqueda de nuevas estrategias biológicas con tratamientos menos agresivos, adaptados a cada paciente y a cada tumor.
La Dra. Lluch, que vive de primera mano los avances de la investigación, es una firme defensora de la nueva Ley de Mecenazgo para favorecer que haya mayor inversión en investigación. En palabras de la Dra. LLuch “El cáncer de mama es una de las patologías en la que más se ha avanzado gracias a la investigación. Actualmente el 85% de los casos tienen cura, hace 30 años sólo poseíamos un 60% de éxito”.
