La primera salida de las Falleras Mayores de Elda, dentro del intenso programa para confeccionarles los trajes, para la proclamación oficial del día 27 de julio tuvo lugar en la tarde del lunes 15, y tenía como destino el taller del indumentarista oficial Rubén Hernández. Enmedio de tejidos y bordados, tanto Marina Pérez García, la Fallera Mayor Infantil, como sus damas de Honor Carmen Cebrián Tortosa y Rocío Martínez Herrera disfrutaron de una tarde inolvidable par ellas, al igual que Lorena Bravo Molina, Fallera Mayor de Elda, del mismo modo acompañada por sus Damas, Anabel Rico Pérez y Ana Ruiz Gan. Acompañadas por Chelo Moya, presidenta de Junta Central, tuvieron ocasión de ver y conocer las telas y los bordados que lucirán en sus trajes oficiales, tomándoles medidas para empezar a confeccionarlos. Junto a los trajes también tuvieron ocasión de conocer los alçadores y otras prendas, responsabilidad de nuevo la empresa valenciana La Llar del Fil.
Así mismo el martes 16 de junio, se desplazaban hasta la empresa zapatera Paco Herrero, que será la encargada de calzar a las Falleras Mayores y sus Damas de Honor. La firma, una de las más carismáticas de la industria eldense a puesto a disposición de las falleras unos modelos especiales según las características de cada una de ellas, cuidando especialmente el diseño de los modelos, la comodidad de las hormas y la calidad de las materiales con los que se elaborarán los zapatos.
La tarde del miércoles estuvo dedicada a la elección de los aderezos y complementos, que lucirán los cargos, en esta ocasión suministrados por la firma alicantina Conchi Beneyto, que goza de una buena clientela entre las comisiones eldenses.
A lo largo de los próximos días ésta será la tónica general, visitas a los establecimientos encargados de elaborar los trajes y complementos, así como los zapatos, que serán elaborados en nuestra ciudad. Todo ello desembocará en la presentación oficial de los trajes, que tendrá lugar el jueves 25 de julio a las 20:30 en los salones del hotel AC. Todo ello sin olvidar las bandas, símbolo ineludible que acredita el cargo, que de nuevo estarán confeccionadas por Fina bordadora en su establecimiento de Alicante.
