Com ve fent-se des de 1879, l´entitat cultural Lo Rat Penat, ha convocat la CXXX edició dels Jocs Florals de la Ciutat i Regne de Valéncia i ha fet la tradicional crida als poetes, als investigadors i als escritors que s´interessen per la Cultura Valenciana a participar en este certamen lliterari i d´investigació.
La data llímit d´entrega de treballs per a participar en els CXXX Jocs Florals, i per tal de donar més temps als poetes, investigadors i escritors per a la preparació dels seus treballs, s´amplia fins al dia 21 d´octubre, dilluns. Els treballs, tal com indiquen les bases, hauran de presentar-se en triplicat eixemplar en la Secretaria de Lo Rat Penat, C/ Trinquet de Cavallers, 9 de Valéncia, Tel. 96 391 09 92. Els treballs no aniran firmats, pero portaran indicador del premi al que es presenten i un lema que es repetirà en l´exterior d´un sobre tancat, dins del qual figurarà el nom de l´autor.

En el cartell figuren quinze premis de diferent temàtica: poesia, teatre, novela, ensaig, narrativa, a més de diversos temes d´investigació. En l’apartat dels Premis Ordinaris destaca la Flor Natural, màxim guardó del certamen, aixina com la Viola i l’Englantina d’Or. Dins dels Premis Extraordinaris figuren, entre atres, el de l’Excm. Ajuntament de Valéncia, al millor treball d’investigació de tema valencià, el Premi Josep Maria Bayarri d’ensaig de l’Excma. Diputació de Valéncia, o el Premi Botànic Cavanilles de la Conselleria d’Educació, Cultura i Deport.
Els Jocs Florals conten en el patrocini d´institucions oficials valencianes, empreses i particulars: Excm. Ajuntament de Valéncia, Excma. Diputació de Valéncia, Generalitat Valenciana, Excm. i Revd. Sr. Arquebisbe de Valéncia, Real Acadèmia de Cultura Valenciana, M.I. Acadèmia de la Música Valenciana, Amics del Corpus, Junta Central Vicentina, Associació d’Escritors en Llengua Valenciana, Associació Cardona i Vives de Castelló, Associació Vicent Blasco Ibáñez, Fills de Vicent Añon, Elvira Carles, Victòria Liceras «Siglo XVIII» i Vicent Payá.
Seran admesos treballs fins al dia 21 d´octubre de 2013, en la Secretaria de Lo Rat Penat, C/ Trinquet de Cavallers, nº 9 , 46003 Valéncia.
El poeta que guanye la Flor Natural tindrà l´honor d´oferir-li-la a la que serà la CXXX Regina dels Jocs Florals i acompanyar-la a la Cadira d´Or en la tradicional cerimònia que es celebrarà en el Teatre Principal de Valéncia en data que oportunament s´anunciarà.
