Lo Rat Penat, dins dels actes commemoratius al voltant del 9 d´octubre, celebrarà un Concert Extraordinari el pròxim dumenge, 29 de setembre, a les 11.30 h. del matí en el Palau de la Música (Sala Rodrigo), el qual estarà a càrrec del Cor Popular de Lo Rat Penat, dirigit per Jesús Madrid i presidit per Rosa Bartual.
Un any més el COR POPULAR DE LO RAT PENAT, com ve fent-ho des de 1980, vol commemorar el dia de l’entrada triumfal del Rei D. Jaume en la ciutat de Valéncia el 9 d’octubre de 1238, adherint-se aixina a les solemnes celebracions, tant cíviques com religioses, del poble valencià.
El programa d’enguany juntarà cançons populars de la nostra terra junt ad atres cançons d’autor que en alguns casos són populars i famoses dins i fòra de la nostra Comunitat: Romance de Adela, Anuncios Radiofónicos, La caña dulce, Castelloneres, No hi ha camí, Mirant la mar, Puig Campana, Sant Antoni de Gavarda, El baile del ramo, Vent de Ponent, Cançó de breçol, Alfonsina i la mar, Volar, Jota de Cofrentes, Cançó d’amor, Alacantines, La Casa Vella, Himne de Lo Rat Penat i l’Himne Valencià.
El Cor Popular de Lo Rat Penat continua treballant per la música popular valenciana fent realitat el seu lema: “que els vells recorden i els jóvens deprenguen”.
