Más de doscientos niños y adolescentes valencianos, menores de 14 años, escenifican desde ayer domingo, “els Miracles” de San Vicente Ferrer en los altares levantados para las representaciones, con motivo de la festividad del patrón de la Comunidad Valenciana que se celebra hoy lunes.
En este año 2013 son ocho los altares de la ciudad de Valencia que realizan representaciones y celebran sus actos en torno a la solemnidad y el resto de altares celebrarán sus representaciones y actos días más tarde, según ha afirmado el vicepresidente de la Junta Central Vicentina, José Miguel López.
Está previsto que se ofrezcan representaciones en los altares de El Carmen, Tossal, Mercat, Pila Bautismal, Pilar, Russafa, Playa y el Mar, y los próximos días 20 y 21 de abril será el turno de los altares del Ángel Custodio, Mercado de Colón y Mocadoret. Por su parte, el altar de los Niños de la calle de San Vicente celebrará sus actos vicentinos los días 2 y 3 de junio.
En la actualidad la ciudad de Valencia cuenta con doce altares, aunque también existen altares vicentinos en las localidades valencianas de Xirivella, Mislata, Ribarroja, Meliana, la Cañada y Llíria, entre otras. El altar más antiguo, que data de 1561, se alza en las proximidades de la iglesia del ‘Pouet’ de San Vicente, en la casa natalicia del santo, ha añadido.
