Les falleres majors de Dénia, Melani Ivars i Carla Vinaròs, acompanyades pel president de la Junta Local Fallera, José Vicente Benavente, van assistir dissabte passat a la proclamació de les Reines de les Festes d’Elx.
Les dues reines són de la comissió Baltasar Tristany: Laura Pomares la major i Paula Ruiz la infantil. Les quatre dames que els acompanyen són de comissions del camp: Rebeca López de Virgen del Carmen Matola i Sandra Martínez de Perleta les majors i Atenea Komovás de la Hoya i Edurne Hernández del Altet les infantils.
El Gran Teatre d’Elx va acollir l’acte de proclamació. Un acte que va comptar amb la presència de l’alcalde, Carlos González, l’edil de Festes, José Pérez, i membres de la corporació, amb els presidents de la Federació Gestora de Festejos Populars i de la Unió de Festers del Camp d’Elx, els presidents de les diferents Comissiones Festeres i representants de les entitats festeres d’Elx, així com representants de diferents festes de la Comunitat Valenciana.
