Éxito del Conciertazo Amstel Fallas 2015
- Alejo Stivel (Tequila), Carlos Tarque (MClan), Aurora Beltrán (Tahúres Zurdos), Carlos Escobedo (Sôber), Fortu (Obús), Pau (Uzzhuaïa) y Sherpa (ex componente de Barón Rojo) pasan por el escenario de los Jardines de Viveros en una noche llena de estrellas.
- Los valencianos Jimmy Project y Foxriver, ganadores de El Concursazo impulsado por la Concejalía de Juventud, Rock Fm y la cervecera, fueron los encargados de abrir la velada, actuando como teloneros.
- Con las invitaciones agotadas desde la semana previa, la respuesta del público ha sido excelente, llenado el aforo de los Jardines de Viveros y permitiendo que miles de valencianos dieran la bienvenida a las Fallas con la mejor música en vivo.
El arranque de los conciertos de Fallas ha estado marcado por la gran afluencia de público delConciertazo Amstel. Con las invitaciones agotadas desde la semana previa, miles de personas pasaron el viernes por los Jardines de Viveros para disfrutar de una velada con tres horas y media de música en vivo en la que siete grandes nombres del rock español subieron al escenario.
La expectación hizo que desde las 20h, con la apertura de puertas, fueran llegando los primeros espectadores, que pudieron disfrutar a las 21h de la actuación de los teloneros, Jimmy Project y Foxriver. Eran los ganadores de El Concursazo, una iniciativa impulsada por la Concejalía de Juventud, Rock FM y la cervecera en la que 95 grupos lucharon por hacerse un hueco en el escenario del Conciertazo Amstel Fallas.
En una muestra de apoyo a la música local emergente, ambas bandas disfrutaron de la oportunidad de compartir cartel con nombres consagrados del panorama nacional y de actuar con un espectacular montaje que incluía pantallas de LED gigantes, 40.000 vatios de sonido y 120.000 de luces, además de barras de restauración, zona VIP y la mejor animación a cargo de Rock FM.
Primero subieron al escenario Jimmy Project, que hicieron gala de su rock con influencias clásicas. Después fue el turno de Foxriver, con sus potentes guitarras y sus ecos alternativos fueron caldeando el ambiente entre los miles de espectadores que ya se congregaban en la explanada de los jardines.
Conforme avanzaba la noche, fue incrementándose y rotando el público, hasta lograr mantener el aforo completo durante el resto de la velada.
Sobre las 23h llegó el estreno de la ‘All Star Band’. Compuesta por Daniel Gómez (guitarrista y director musical), Ronnie Romero (voz), Carlos García (batería), Juan Giner (teclados) y Javi García (bajo), se trata de una selección entre los mejores músicos de estudio de España, colaboradores en giras y grabaciones de grandes artistas como Brian May, Nacho Cano o Antonio Vega, entre otros. Amstel los ha reunido, convirtiéndose en la primera cerveza en tener una banda propia. Ypara su bautismo en Valencia ha contado con unos padrinos de lujo.

Grandes figuras del rock español acompañaron a la ‘All Star Band’ en su estreno. El primero en saltar al escenario fue el legendario Fortu, vocalista de Obús, quien hizo suyo el tema de los Rolling Stones Satisfaction. Le siguió Aurora Beltrán, la que fuera líder de Tahúres Zurdos, con una inolvidable versión en español de Because the night, de B.Springsteen y Patti Smith.
Otro nombre con solera en el heavy español que aportó su voz al espectáculo fue Sherpa, ex componente de Barón Rojo, quien bordó el clásico Smoke on the watter, de Deep Purple. Con Alejo Stivel no faltaron los míticos Rock&Roll en la plaza del pueblo, Salta o Dime que que quieres, de Tequila, con un público entregado al que el propio artista quiso fotografiar desde el escenario.
Uno de los momentos cumbre de la velada se vivió con la interpretación de All right now, de Free, en la inconfundible voz de Carlos Tarque, quien repite en los conciertos de Fallas con su bandaMClan en la Noche Rock FM del sábado, en la que Amstel también colabora.
Los últimos padrinos en subir al escenario fueron el valenciano Pau Monteagudo, vocalista de Uzzhuaïa, quien interpretó clásicos más recientes, como Smells like Teen Spirit (Nirvana), With or Without you (U2) o I want it all (Queen). Y Carlos Escobedo, de Sôber, quien se marcó una atronadora Nothing else matters, de Metallica. Después, los siete artistas invitados se reunieron sobre el escenario para poner el broche final con Highway to hell, de AC/DC, con miles de espectadores coreando su famoso estribillo.
En total, más de dos horas y media de concierto en el que la ‘All Star Band’, con la ayuda de siete voces de auténtico lujo, fue haciendo un repaso a grandes temas del rock de todos los tiempos. Una velada creada exclusivamente para Valencia e irrepetible, ya que es imposible volver a reunir a los mismos artistas sobre un escenario y que interpreten exactamente el mismo repertorio.
Amstel agradece a los valencianos su excelente respuesta ante este espectáculo, que contó con sorpresas para el numeroso público reunido en Viveros como el sorteo de una guitarra Squier by Fender, que fue para Damià Jordà.
La organización de Rock FM y la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Valencia han hecho posible estavelada que ha marcado el arranque de las fiestas falleras y que Amstel ha patrocinado en exclusiva, corriendo con todos los gastos. En los próximos días, la marca continúa contribuyendo al programa oficial de festejos con el patrocinio exclusivo de los Castillos de Fuegos Artificiales del 15 y 16 de marzo, así como de la Cremà de Falla Municipal en la Plaza del Ayuntamiento, con su ramillete de fuegos artificiales correspondiente.
