La Fallera Mayor Infantil de Valencia, Sofía Soler, junto a representantes de las distintas formaciones políticas del Ayuntamiento de Valencia y el Mercado Central se han sumado esta mañana al #ComboiPaellaEmoji para defender la receta original de la Paella.
Con este gesto han mostrado su apoyo al diseño original del emoji -propuesto por Arroz La Fallera- que respeta los ingredientes tradicionales, frente al difundido por la plataforma Emojipedia que incluye gambas, pollo y guisantes entre otros productos.
El próximo lunes, 25 de enero, se celebrará el Comité Anual de Unicode donde se decidirán los diseños definitivos de los iconos, y con el objetivo de apoyar la candidatura del Paellaemoji y presionar a Unicode para que no varíe los ingredientes del emoji, se ha convocado una “TwitterParty”, de 10h a 22h, bajo el hashtag #ComboiPaellaEmoji. Para que los valencianos, y todos los que lo deseen, se unan al comboi para demostrar a Unicode que no se quiere un emoji de arroz con cosas, sino uno que refleje cómo entendemos en Valencia nuestro plato más internacional. Además, Arroz La Fallera regalará un viaje a Japón al autor del mejor tuit.
Desde que en 2014 comenzó esta iniciativa de la mano de la firma arrocera valenciana y del humorista Eugeni Alemany; la campaña ha recibido el ferviente apoyo de La Generalitat Valenciana, el Ayuntamiento de Valencia, Junta Central Fallera, Valencia Basket, Levante U.D, así como de numerosos medios de comunicación y personalidades, como el chef Jose Andrés, el actor Juan Echanove, el humorista Arturo Valls o el escritor Máxim Huerta… Esta puede ser la última oportunidad de defender el plato más tradicional e internacional de nuestra gastronomía antes de que se decidan los iconos definitivos.
