En la celebración se reunieron concejales de todos los grupos municipales, así como todas las personas que hicieron posible que el personaje de la novela de Swift se convirtiese en el centro de un parque de más de 60.000 metros cuadrados: el arquitecto Rafael Rivera, el dibujante Sento Llobell, el ex conseller Andrés García Reche y el artista fallero Manuel Martín, en representación de su padre, ya fallecido. También asistieron nuestras Falleras Mayores de Valencia, Sofía Soler y Alicia Moreno.
A lo largo de sus 25 años de historia, El Gulliver ha sido uno de los parques infantiles más divertidos. Ubicado en el cauce del río Turia, se hizo famoso por sus toboganes, rampas y escaleras, y son varias generaciones las que han podido disfrutar de él.
