Alicia Moreno Morales, junto con otras comisiones, representa al mundo fallero en la ofrenda a la Virgen de los Desamparados en el Cottolengo.
Dentro de los actos que se celebran durante la víspera de la festividad de la Virgen de los Desamparados, el pasado sábado 7 de mayo se celebró la tradicional ofrenda en el Cottolengo. Los bailes tradicionales valencianos llenaron las instalaciones de esta institución, situada en el barrio valenciano de Benimaclet, que realiza una gran labor social en favor de los desamparados siguiendo el camino marcado por el Padre Alegre.
Alicia Moreno Morales, Fallera Mayor de Valencia 2016, y su Corte de Honor participaron junto con numerosas fallas de Valencia y de la población de Alboraia, en la procesión por las instalaciones del centro y la ofrenda de flores a la imagen del SXVIII de la Virgen de los Desamparados que se conserva en este colegio. Esta ofrenda no sólo es floral, si no que además se completa con alimentos y productos de colaboran con la obra que se lleva a cabo en el Cottolengo.
