Desde las 15:30 horas de hoy martes 17 de marzo las calles de San Vicente y La Paz se han llenado de flores para nuestra patrona. Miles de falleros las recorren portando esos ramos llenos de ilusión y devoción. Mientras, en la Plaza de la Virgen, aguarda la Maré de Dèu dels Desamparats para lucir radiante ese manto floral. Poco a poco los claveles blancos y rojos se van acumulando en la plaza mientras los vestidores van confeccionando ese manto con la porpia Geperudeta como referente.
Este vistoso modelo es del siglo XVI y lucirá radiante con su intenso color rojo. La elección de este manto ha venido determinada por resaltar el tradicional «Ave María», símbolo que representa lo mariano, lo principal. Por su parte las hojas de oliva simbolizan la paz en el mundo. Estos simbolos han llevado a los vestidores a esta elección a la que le han entregado una gran dedicación.
Falleros mayores e infantiles participan de esta muestra devoción, que llena de sentimiento nuestras calles en el día de hoy. Una gran cita de la semana fallera, esta ofrenda floral, que en el día de hoy cerrará la Fallera Mayor Infantil de Valencia, María Donderis, junto a su Corte de Honor.
