Un año más la Semana Cultural de San Francisco de Sales, ha contemplado un espacio para la poesía. El sábado 25 de enero, entre las 16:30 y las 19:00 hs, tenía lugar la 4ª Lectura Poética Colectiva, que en esta edición estuvo dedicada al poeta Gabriel Celaya.
En la iglesia de San Francisco, de Elda, que este año cumple su cincuentenario 65 lectores de todas las edades, se daban cita para hacer oír su voz leyendo una selección de poemas del poeta guipuzcoano, ante más de un centenar de personas que se reunieron para escucharles. El acto promovido por la parroquia, la asociación de vecinos y las comisiones falleras de San Francisco de Sales y Trinquete, estuvo organizado y coordinado por el taller literario Farfanías y en él, además de un buen número de lectores anónimos, colaboraron el grupo Alberto Navarro Pastor y la asociación de escritores Gramática Parda. También es de reseñar la nutrida representación del colectivo fallero.
La lectura se cerraba con unas emotivas palabras de Julio Cesar Rioja, párroco de la iglesia, y el anuncio por parte de este de una nueva edición para el próximo año, esta vez dedicada a la poeta Gloria Fuertes.
