El Grupo Municipal Socialista abre el plazo de inscripción para las comisiones que quieran participar en su premio a la crítica fallera dotado con una cuantía de 1.000 euros y una pieza de Ortifus
Los socialistas de València han abierto del plazo de inscripción de la XVI edición del Premio Picota a la crítica fallera. Un galardón que “se ha consolidado en los últimos años como máximo referente de la crítica política en el ámbito de las fallas y la política municipal” así lo ha recordado la portavoz del Grupo Municipal Socialista y primera teniente de alcalde, Sandra Gómez. Este galardón dotado con 1.000 euros es una obra artística diseñada por Ortifus y realizada en exclusiva para este evento. La fecha tope para participar será el día 10 de marzo y como requisito, la falla deberá de tener alguna escena de carácter crítico en el ámbito de lo local o del propio barrio.
Aquellas comisiones que planten su falla en el término municipal de Valencia, interesadas en participar, deben de dirigir su solicitud, dentro del plazo mencionado, al Grupo Municipal Socialista a través de correo postal (Calle Convento San Francisco nº 2) o por correo electrónico(gpsoe@valencia.com).
El premio Picota se celebra de forma ininterrumpida desde el año 2005 y ya han participado más de 300 fallas. La portavoz del grupo municipal socialista en el Ayuntamiento y Secretaria General de los socialistas de València, Sandra Gómez, afirma que con estos galardones “pretendemos impulsar el espíritu crítico que ha caracterizado a las fallas desde su origen y la capacidad creativa de los artistas falleros”. Además, ha destacado “la importancia que los socialistas valencianos damos a la fiesta de las fallas como el gran evento de nuestra ciudad, y como uno de los principales motores de la economía y la cultura de València”. Por eso, ha concluido recordando que “los socialistas de València reafirmamos nuestro compromiso a lo largo de muchos años con las comisiones falleras que son los principales agentes de esta fiesta patrimonio de la humanidad”.
En anteriores ediciones de este premio a la crítica local en las fallas de la ciudad de València resultaron premiadas las comisiones de Na Jordana (2005), San Vicente-Periodista Azzati (2006), Duque de Gaeta-Pobla de Farnals (2007 y 2017), Plaza del Ángel (2008), Obispo Amigó-Cuenca (2009), Almirante Cadarso-Conde Altea (2010), Arrancapins (2011) Nou Campanar (2012), Maestro Gozalbo-Conde Altea (2013), Císcar-Burriana (2014) y Arzobispo Olaechea San Marcelino (2015 y 2016).
