Tres mil ochocientos agentes de los cuerpos y fuerzas de seguridad del estado velarán diariamente por la seguridad ciudadana durante las próximas fiestas falleras, según ha anunciado la Alcaldesa de Valencia, Rita Barberá, al acabar la reunión de la Junta Local de Seguridad que ha copresidido junto a la Delegada del Gobierno, Paula Sánchez de León, donde se ha analizado el protocolo de actuaciones.
Cada día patrullarán las calles de Valencia, vigilarán los lugares de mayor afluencia de público o supervisarán que se cumpla la normativa en cuanto a almacenamiento y empleo de material pirotécnico, entre otros muchos servicios, 1.000 agentes de la Policía Local, 350 de la guardia civil, 205 de la Policía Autonómica y 2.245 del cuerpo Nacional de Policía
A esta Junta Local de Seguridad, en la que han participado también los concejales Miquel Domínguez y Francisco Lledó, han asistido por primera vez el General de la Guardia civil, Fernando Santafé, el nuevo Jefe Superior de Policía, José Manuel Salgado, y el nuevo Jefe de Bomberos, Tomás Asensio.
En su comparecencia Barberá ha destacado aspectos como la vigilancia especial de algunas calles, el control de ciclomotores, especialmente en el Puente de la Peineta y en la Avenida del Cid, la supervisión de los kioscos y establecimientos donde se almacena material pirotécnico, así como su transporte, la vigilancia en los puntos de mayor afluencia, como pueden ser las fallas premiadas, para evitar hurtos, la seguridad especial con motivo del disparo de mascletás, mascletás nocturnas y castillos de fuegos artificiales y otras actuaciones policiales que resultan necesarias para que las fiestas más importantes y esperadas de Valencia discurra con seguridad.
Rita Barberá ha expresado su deseo de que “tengamos unas muy felices fallas que puedan ser disfrutadas por todos los valencianos después de un año muy difícil”
El Concejal de Fiestas, Francisco Lledó, ha informado de las medidas relacionadas con el uso del “tro de bac”, y ha recordado que el que no se emplea en las despertás se retira ”porque no se puede almacenar”. También ha explicado la normativa europea que establece las edades para el uso y empleo del material pirotécnico.
