Discurs de l’alcaldessa de Castelló a la reina infantil 2016, Lola Marco, amb motiu de l’acte d’imposició de bandes

Bona nit,
Hui iniciem el calendari festiu que finalitzarà el 6 de març de 2016, quart diumenge de quaresma, amb el Magdalena Vitol.
Ho iniciem amb la imposició de bandes a la reina infantil Lola Marco Alors, a la seua cort d’honor i a les madrines de les gaiates, i amb la presentació i homenatge als presidents infantils de sector.
És emocionant obrir el cicle de la nostra Magdalena amb els més xicotets, perquè son la garantia de la continuïtat de la festa, de la pervivència de les nostres tradicions i, sobretot de la nostra història.
No hem d’oblidar que les festes són fundacionals i rememoren el moment en què Castelló va començar el seu camí com a poble.
I el que més m’emociona com a alcaldessa que per primera vegada ocupa aquest escenari per a dirigir-se als seus conciutadans: és el fet que les festes són la vivència del nostre sentir popular en totes les seues dimensions i ens agermanen absolutament a tots.
Bé ho diu Bernat Artola en el pregó anunciador de la setmana gran: «Quin fillol oblidaria, la rabassa maternal?».
Tots som descendents d’aquells fundadors i per això tornem al lloc dels nostres orígens amb reverència, amb orgull de ser castelloneros i amb l’alegria que açò comporta.
Aquest fet ho han entès molt bé estos xiquets que porten una important biografia magdalenera, quasi des del seu naixement. I es deu en gran part als seus pares, a «l’orgull de genealogia», com també manifesta Artola en les seues estrofes del pregó, que és un manifest d’identitat de les nostres festes.
Els pares, i singularment les mares, són les que han inculcat als seus fills eixes senyals d’identitat i amor que són impagables i, per això vull reconèixer-ho amb tota la meua gratitud, demanant l’ovació que mereixen eixes famílies que treballen i que hui veuen amb orgull com els seus xicotets ocupen els més representatius escalons de les festes.
Vull parlar de les dames de la ciutat: Balma, Ana, Esther, María, Berta i María,
que simbolitzen els distints àmbits de la nostra societat. I dels presidents infantils, que tenen vertadera vocació gaiatera, com ho demostra el fet que col·laboren en la confecció del monument amb un sentiment que més que artesanal és artístic.
També vull parlar de les madrines i dametes de sector que personifiquen als diferents barris de la ciutat i són la representació del sentiment dels seus veïns més menuts, eixos per als que la Magdalena és alegria, expansió, goig i jovialitat.
Ací està el futur de la festa, un futur que es veu en la biografia de la nostra reina que ens mira il·lusionada i feliç des del seu tron. Lola Marco Alors, que va ser madrina de la molt premiada gaiata 8, Portal de l’Om, i va ostentar també en 2014 el càrrec de dama de la ciutat infantil.
Una xiqueta encantadora, molt estudiosa i responsable que gaudeix moltíssim de l’amistat que ha forjat amb les seues companyes del món de la festa.
És una fervorosa amant de la seua terra i de la naturalesa. Li agrada pujar a la muntanya i caminar molt i, quan és el seu temps, recol·lectar bolets. Una reina que sent la seua terra des de la devoció pel paisatge natural.
Una reina que substitueix a Cristina Batalla, que deixa entre nosaltres un record inesborrable, per la seua simpatia, el seu encant, el seu saber estar, el seu arrelat castellonerisme. Per aquestes qualitats és mereixedora de l’aplaudiment de la gent de la festa, que li diu no un adéu, sinó un fins sempre perquè el seu regnat ha quedat escrit en la història de la nostra setmana gran.
Lola, sé que assumir el paper de reina et fa molta il·lusió. Ho he vist al imposar-te la banda en el brillar de fulgor dels teus ulls, plens d’alegre entusiasme. I ho sé, perquè des del teu nomenament vas dir, amb la teua espontània sinceritat: «Vull que arriben ja els actes. No sé si podré esperar». Doncs bé, el teu acte d’imposició ha arribat. Ja eres reina, reina d’unes festes que com tu mateixa dius, no oblidaràs mai.
Enguany tindràs tot el suport de l’ajuntament perquè representes tots els xiquets i xiquetes i deixes a Castelló en el més alt.
I en la Magdalena 2016 eixe goig es multiplicarà exponencialment, no sols per ser reina si no per sentir molt més fondo el sentiment de la teua terra, l’amor del teu poble, i la vivència de tants i tants actes que són la definició més tradicional, alegre i espontània del nostre ser castellonero.
Per primera vegada, en honor de la nostra reina infantil 1916 diguem, ben fort, junts: Magdalena!!!!!!!!!
