Pere Fuset ha presentado este proyecto que se desarrolla junto con la Conselleria de Medio ambiente y la Diputación para tomar decisiones con datos científicos
Recaudar información y estudiarla para hacer un plan estratégico con el que conseguir que las Fallas sean lo más sostenibles posible es el objetivo del proyecto “Por unas fallas sostenibles”. Lo han impulsado conjuntamente y con un presupuesto de 250.000 euros, el Ayuntamiento, la Conselleria de Medio ambiente y la Diputación de València para fomentar la triple vertiente de la sostenibilidad (la económica, el ambiental y la social) de la fiesta.
El concejal de Cultura Festiva, Pere Fuset, ha presentado hoy este proyecto, en el taller del artista fallero Ximo Esteve, en la Ciutat del Artista Fallero, donde se han reunido los agentes implicados en la fiesta “que, además de ser un motor social y cultural, lo es desde el punto de vista turístico y económico”. De hecho, tal como ha explicado el concejal, el objetivo del acuerdo entre las tres administraciones locales “es juntar esfuerzos porque todas las personas y colectivos relacionadas con el mundo de las fallas también puedan hacer sus planes estratégicos y entre todos realizar un diagnóstico de la fiesta, desmitificar tópicos y tomar las mejores decisiones”.
Pere Fuset, que ha recordado que desde hace un año las Fallas son Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad, ha explicado “que esa condición es una gran responsabilidad y nos obliga a buscar la excelencia y a trabajar para hacer mejor nuestra fiesta”. Por eso, y en el marco del acuerdo para conseguir unas fallas sostenibles, en todas sus vertientes, la Concejalía de Cultura Festiva ya ha desarrollado un estudio sociológico para conocer cómo vive la fiesta el colectivo fallero, y ha encargado otro para saber la parte de la fiesta que más gusta a los turistas.
Estos documentos se completarán con un estudio sobre el impacto económico de las fallas, con el cual se podrá cuantificar, por ejemplo, cada euro que se destina a las mascletaes cómo se traduce en el sector servicios. Finalmente, también se evaluará el impacto ambiental “con datos científicos para aclarar informaciones como las relacionadas con la cremà de las fallas”.
“La información permite tomar las mejores decisiones”, ha reiterado el edil, quien ha apreciado la colaboración de todas las instituciones implicadas en el proyecto que hoy también han presentado el maestro mayor del Gremio Artesano de Artistas Falleros, José Ramón Espuig; el diputado del área de Medio ambiente, de la Diputación de València, Josep Bort; y la Consellera de Agricultura, Medio ambiente, Cambio Climático y Desarrollo Rural, Elena Cebrián.
A las palabras de agradecimiento de José Ramón Espuig, por el hecho de que la Ciutat del Artista Fallero haya sido el escenario elegido para dar a conocer esta iniciativa, “que también dará visibilidad a este espacio y lo impulsará como barrio creativo”, se han añadido las de “satisfación por el trabajo conjunto” del diputado Josep Bort. Ha destacado que, después de la primera fase de estudio, se establecerá un plan de acción para avanzar hacia las fallas más sostenibles. Seguidamente, “desde la Diputación se hará una tarea de seguimiento a lo largo de los años así como campañas de sensibilización social”.
Por su parte, la consejera Elena Cebrián ha remarcado que este acuerdo entre instituciones, “rompe la tendencia pasada de andar cada uno por su camino”, y también se materializará en una guía de buenas prácticas falleras. Así, ha manifestado, “si hablamos de fallas, también tenemos que tener en cuenta cómo hacer posible el ahorro en el consumo de energía y de agua, o de generación de residuos y tenemos que impulsar tanto entre la ciudadanía como entre los turistas hábitos sostenibles y respetuosos con el medio ambiente”.
