Australians have discovered an unlikely pop-up store offering shoppers ‘incredible’ deals on clothing, homewares, food, and electronics.

The temporary Vinnies locations have been set up around Victoria to help shoppers get through the cost of living crisis ravaging the country.

Vinnies, or the St Vincent de Paul Society, is a charity that works to
provide support and assistance to people in need.

Most items are brand new stock donated by corporate partners including Christmas decorations.

Popular bargains include $10 large jars of Biscoff, $2 bags of Red Rock Deli
chips, and discounted shoes from Boston Bros. 

Shoppers will find men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes from top
brands, and even electrical goods at the Vinnies pop-up locations. 

Many have purchased vacuums, air fryers, Adidas shoes, printers, and kitchen knives from previous pop-up shops. 

There is presently a location in Ascot Vale which is open until 3
November, and another in Boronia which will remain open until Christmas – or until stock runs out.

‘They have all the trending products – it’s so awesome,’ one said.

‘I bought a hair dryer from Vinnies and I’m obsessed with

For those interested in the finer things, shoppers have discovered a ‘hidden gem’ discount retailer where
you can find designer buys from brands like Fendi, Dior,
and Aje for affordable prices.

TK Maxx – which has stores in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia – is the

Beth Zazlan, from Queensland, recently found a

‘I was there for a pillow but I ended up grabbing
some sparkly earrings from [American jewellery brand] Badgley Mischka,’ Beth
told FEMAIL.

TK Maxx sells old stock from previous seasons – and shoppers have described it as a ‘clearance treasure hunt’.

Many have seen bags from Fendi, Dior, and Bottega Venetta on sale.

Others have spotted Gucci and Versace sunglasses, Hugo Boss accessories, and Christopher
Esber dresses.

Beth said, ‘I was truly blown away – so if you’re looking for a bargain, head there.’

A David Jones employee revealed in a comment that discounted items
from stores that aren’t sold are shipped to TK Maxx.

Lady Gaga is set to release her seventh studio album in February.

Despite lead single Disease stalling on the Hot 100 at No.
27, the 38-year-old is forging ahead with her next album, which
she described as both ‘fun’ and ‘darker.’

Speaking to Vogue magazine about the project, Gaga said that she’s been focused on the production side of her new songs. 

‘I love producing — I always have — and something that was really important
to me making my seventh studio album was blending live instrumentation with programming,’ she explained.

‘The album is chaotic from a genre perspective — it is genre-bending, and
I think in that way is a deeply personal look into my mind as a producer and the way I think about music.’

She also said that the album has a ‘darker pop’ sound that’s more in line with her iconic 2009 album,
The Fame Monster. 

However, fans need not be worried that Gaga is going too somber with her sound. 

‘The album is not extremely serious in that it’s very fun and meant to be enjoyed at a party, in a club,
or at home having personal fun time — to be free of your worries at
home or walking through life,’ she insisted. 

Lady Gaga is focused on releasing her seventh studio album this February
following the disappointing reception to lead single Disease

Gaga released the album’s lead single Disease last month
to rave reviews from music critics, who lauded it as a return to the star’s roots.

Unfortunately, the acclaim failed to translate to the charts, with Disease debuting at No.
27 on the Hot 100 – her worst entry for a lead single in 16 years.

On the bright side, Gaga is currently enjoying one of her biggest
hits in years thanks to her Bruno Mars duet, Die With a Smile. 

The ballad has so far reached No. 2 on the Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Pop Airplay Chart.

It comes after Gaga’s leading role in the disastrous Joker:
Folie à Deux. 

The follow-up to the Oscar-winning 2019 film, starring Joaquin Phoenix
as Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Gaga as Lee Quinzel (Harley Quinn), faced negative reviews from critics before its October 4 release and flopped at the box office.

Briton Matthew Smith, the partner of former Abercrombie

The partner of the ex-CEO of the Abercrombie and Fitch clothing
line pleaded not guilty Tuesday in US federal court to charges of
sex trafficking and interstate prostitution and was released
on $10 million bond.

Briton Matthew Smith, the ex-CEO Mike Jeffries and their fixer
James Jacobson allegedly used a «casting couch» ploy to groom aspiring male models to
attend sex parties at which victims were plied with alcohol
and drugs.

After his arrest in October in Florida with Jeffries, Smith was
held in custody in New York. Smith appeared in court Tuesday in Central Islip on Long Island,
to the east of New York City.

Smith pleaded not guilty and was released on a $10 million bond
put up by Jeffries and his family, said a statement from the US attorney’s office for the eastern district of New York.

An AFP photographer saw Smith leave the courthouse with
what appeared to be a large electronic surveillance bracelet attached to his ankle.

Another hearing is scheduled for December 10 for Smith,
Jeffries and Jacobson.

Jeffries, 80, was released on a $10 million bond in late
October.

Jeffries, who served as CEO of Abercrombie and Fitch from
1992 to 2014, is accused of creating and maintaining a ring that recruited young men to have sex with
him and Smith.

Prosecutors allege that between December 2008 and March 2015 Jeffries,
Smith and Jacobson used a combination of «force, fraud and coercion»
to traffic men in a sprawling prostitution enterprise.

Charging documents detail 15 anonymous victims, but prosecutors suggest the scale was probably much larger and
have appealed for witnesses and victims to come forward.

Prosecutors say young men were taken to the New York home of
Jeffries and Smith and to hotels in Britain, France, Italy,
Morocco to have sex with them.

Jeffries faces the prospect of life in prison if convicted.

Jacobson also pleaded not guilty to the same charges as the other defendants and was released on half a
million dollars bond in October.

Oct 27 (Reuters) – Marlboro maker Altria Group Inc on Thursday
announced a strategic partnership with Japan Tobacco in an attempt
to boost its smoke-free category.

Altria and JT will jointly establish Horizon Innovations
LLC, which would be responsible for U.S. marketing and commercialization of heated tobacco stick (HTS) products owned
and developed by either company.

Altria said the joint venture would be through its subsidiary Philip Morris USA that will hold a
75% economic interest in Horizon and Japan Tobacco International, a
subsidiary of JT, holding the rest. Altria added it would make an initial $150 million in capital contribution to
Horizon.

The companies expect to jointly prepare U.S.

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) filings for the latest version of Ploom HTS products that are not currently commercialized and submit pre-market tobacco product
applications in the first half of 2025.

The announcement comes just days after Altria’s U.S.
rights to sell IQOS returned to peer Philip Morris International
Inc , which was spun off from Altria in 2008
when the group wanted to separate its U.S. and overseas businesses.

Philip Morris agreed to pay $2.7 billion for the exclusive right to
sell IQOS heated tobacco products in the United States.

Late September, Altria exercised the option to be released from its non-compete deal with Juul Labs Inc, almost four years after
buying a 35% stake in the company.

The FDA, in early July, put on hold its ban on sales
of Juul’s e-cigarettes in the U.S., after the health agency for
a brief period banned its products as data submitted by the company failed to show its products

last. While dropping off her daughter at a summer camp for the first time, she encourages her reticent child to
