Valencia Una imagen del periodista Ferran Garrido es el ninot que ha entregado hoy la falla Humanista Mariner Manuel Simó en la Exposición del Ninot en la sección 5B.
Este año el monumento mayor, obra de Estudio Chuky, va dedicado al 50 aniversario de la Comisión y lleva por título «Ja som 50». Para este aniversario se buscaba un ninot diferente, representativo de esta fecha. Este ninot representa al anfitrión, al maestro de ceremonias del medio siglo de vida de las fallas.
Para ello se buscó a alguien que fuera fallero, valenciano y que haya tenido un papel destacado en la fiesta. Es por ello que el artista y la directiva pensaron en Ferran Garrido, durante muchos años director de Informativos de TVE en la Comunidad Valenciana. El periodista ha cubierto en numerosas ocasiones la fiesta para la televisión nacional y ha puesto voz a nivel nacional e internacional a nuestra fiesta con piezas para informativos y programas.
Además Ferran Garrido es fallero de la comisión de Exposición Micer Mascó y participa activamente en la fiesta fallera, como por ejemplo jurado de la Fallera Mayor de Valencia el pasado ejercicio.
El ninot de Ferran Garrido ha sido entregado hoy miércoles en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias por la fallera Mayor, Esther Mora, el presidente, Roberto Hernández, la fallera mayor infantil, Olga Lluna, así como el artista Chuky y el propio periodista.
