Enguera podrà restaurar la muralla nord del castell amb l’ajuda que la Diputació de València li ha atorgat per valor de 40.000 euros. Aquesta ajuda s’engloba dins del Pla de Béns Immobles que promou l’Àrea de Cooperació Municipal, que actualment dirigeix el diputat Emili Altur.
La intervenció que es realitzarà té com a fi estabilitzar i conservar totes aquelles parts que encara es conserven de la històrica fortalesa.
L’actuació s’escometrà en aquells trams més importants que queden del recinte superior, evitant així la deterioració a què actualment estan sotmesos.
