En la mañana del lunes 14 de abril se ha conocido el fallo del jurado en el concurso de fallas de 2015. El monumento mayor correrá un año más a cargo de Manolo García con «La Fuerza».
El majestuoso león, cuerpo central de la falla municipal empieza a llegar a la plaza del Ayuntamiento . Este ha sido el primer parso de una laboriosa plantà que tendrá al artista Manolo García en vilo hasta que el próximo 15 de marzo luzca radiante este trnabajo que tanta espectación ha levantado.
Poco a poco irá tomando forma ayudando así al espectacular marco que es nuestra gran plaza en fallas. Grandioso monumento fallero que será testigo de las grandes citas de nuestra fiesta. Hasta 20 metros de altura alcanzará ese emblemático león que contará con una base de 13 x 9 metros en la que se repartirán los 20 ninots que la componen. Un año más la vareta se convertirá en el elemento principal que le dará esa vistosidad a la imagen de las fallas 2015.
Cuatro robustas columnas que garantizan la estabilidad deseada para seguridad de un colectivo, sostienen un pedestal donde se alza la figura de uno de los leones que franquean la entrada del Congreso de los Diputados. Quiere simbolizar la fuerza que emana de las leyes que se aprueban en la cámara representada por todas las tendencias e ideologías que el pueblo refrenda en las urnas. La base de una medidad de 13,20 metros de largo y 8,60 de ancho va sujeta a ls cuatro columnas dóricas de 3,80 metros de altura y 1,30 metros de diámetro.Cuerpo central y remate
Una de las patas del león se apoya en una bola del mundo, como salvaguarda de la defensa que, con la fuerza de la ley, se ejerce en todos los colectivos. Bola realizada en vareta con un diámetro de 3,30 metros.
La imagen y estructura del león será mixta, alternando la vareta de las melenas con la imagen moldeada de rostro y cuerpo. La reproducción del león alcanza los 13 metros de altura, con 16 metros de cabeza a cola y una anchura que va desde los 5 a los 8 metros.
Sobre su cabeza aleteará la paloma de la paz de Picassso, como símbolo que recoge el resultado de la fuerza y guardia que proporciona la seguridad y el progreso.
