La primera feria fallera de Valencia repite por tercera edición reuniendo a los artesanos más relevantes del sector.
On Fallas! se ha consolidado dentro del calendario fallero después de tres años de celebración. Se ha hecho un hueco como una cita anual comercial y cultural imprescindible, que despierta año tras año el interés de los falleros de toda Valencia con gran éxito de convocatoria desde de su primera edición en 2015.
Los asistentes a la feria encontrarán una cuidada selección de profesionales de primer nivel del sector fallero: indumentaristas, orfebres, posticería, complementos falleros y otros productos que son imprescindibles para cualquier participante en la fiesta fallera. Cada año se incorporan nuevos expositores para dar variedad a la oferta. De esta forma, se facilita al fallero el localizar en un mismo espacio anualmente todo lo necesario para participar en la fiesta fallera de 2018.
El Mercado de Tapineria (Valencia, calle Tapineria 15) volverá a ser la sede de este encuentro, que se celebrará este año el último fin de semana de este mes de septiembre (del 29 de septiembre al 1 de octubre) justo el fin de semana siguiente al acto de selección de candidatas a Fallera Mayor de Valencia 2018 en la “Fonteta”.
Es un momento donde la actualidad fallera está en el foco y la emoción por conocer el nombre de la futura FMV es máxima entre los seguidores de la fiesta fallera.
La sede de celebración es el Mercado de Tapinería de Valencia, que se ha abierto un hueco en la agenda de ocio semanal de la ciudad después de 4 años en funcionamiento. Ha sido el pionero en alojar semanalmente eventos y tiendas efímeras en la ciudad. Su ubicación es inmejorable, ya que se encuentra situado en pleno casco antiguo de Valencia, justo al detrás de la Plaza de la Reina y en perfecta sintonía con el espíritu del evento, ya ambos aúnan tradición e innovación.
La feria está destinada principalmente a falleros y comisiones pero también al público en general (valencianos, turistas, etc.) ya que se complementa con una agenda cultural, gastronómica y de ocio alrededor de las tradiciones valencianas. No es necesaria invitación. La entrada es libre y gratuita.
On Fallas! surge ante la ausencia de una feria profesional específicamente orientada al sector fallero, que como tal, no existía. La organización realiza una edición anual en octubre y una edición de “rebajas”, el Estoreta Market tras las fallas.
En la feria consigue un ambiente con mucho encanto, agradable y acogedor, con un aire de “plaza de pueblo valenciano” pero en pleno centro de la ciudad alrededor de las dos plazas peatonales y los 3 locales comerciales llenos de expositores.
Para completar la experiencia del visitante, cuenta con dos restaurantes que complementan la oferta. Está todo pensado para que el público pueda mirar, comprar, aprender y pasar un buen rato cuando visite la feria y quede con ganas de volver al año siguiente.
Calendario y horarios
On Fallas! estará abierto desde el viernes 29 de septiembre al domingo 1 de octubre de 2017 en el siguiente horario:
- Viernes 29 de septiembre: de 10:00 a 14:00 y de 16:00 a 21:00 horas.
- Sábado 30 de septiembre: de 11:00 a 21:00 horas.
- Domingo 1 de octubre: de 1100 a 15:00 horas.
Actividades
On Fallas! siempre quiere ofrece algo más. Acompaña su oferta con una agenda de actividades paralelas con temática fallera y tradición valenciana, en las que los visitantes e interesados pueden participar de manera gratuita para completar una visión de 360° alrededor de la fiesta.
El viernes se celebrará un “afterwork” de 19 a 21 horas donde brindaremos con cerveza cortesía de Amstel para todos. La marca de cervezas, que tanto se involucra en la celebración de las fallas, ha querido apoyar a On Fallas una vez más.
Se ofrecerán los esmorzars fallers en el restaurante La Bernarda durante todo el fin de semana a la hora del almuerzo. El kit completo: bocadillo, cacaos, olivas y cerveza.
El viernes se celebrará un picnic fallero donde se cocinará paella y otros arroces en directo, que luego podremos degustar en el restaurante La Bernarda.
Realce realizará tanto el sábado como el domingo, talleres donde explicará la elaboración y cosido de mallas de pelo para fallera y del peinado de fallera. Se realizará una revisión de cómo ha evolucionado el peinado de valenciana y la industria de la posticería, se comentarán curiosidades y nuevas técnicas, se realizarán demostraciones donde podrá participara el público de forma gratuita.
Durante el fin de semana, los cinceladores presentes como Ortiz y Flor de Aigua, estarán trabajando en directo cincelado de peinetas y demostrando su trabajo a los visitantes.
El domingo como colofón del evento, demostración de bailes regionales de la falla vecina de Corretgeria – Bany del Pavesos.

On Fallas! se plantea como un evento muy completo: aunando lo comercial, lo festivo y lo cultural.
Los expositores son seleccionados y coordinados para crear una oferta variada y profesional. Se busca un equilibrio entre las empresas fuertemente consolidadas en el sector con una visión más tradicional y otras jóvenes con elementos nuevos e ideas originales de calidad.

En esta edición seguimos con el refuerzo al sector artesano de la indumentaria ya que es innegable que el traje de valenciana es uno de los elementos estrella de las fallas por ello se refuerza la presencia de indumentaristas con los talleres de En hilos de seda, Entre fils y Flor de Aigüa – Flor de Cotó. Contaremos además con las antigüedades en mantillas y encajes de Me Encanta con su exquisita selección de artículos y con la exposición de Margarita Vercher con sus enaguas y cancanes.
La orfebrería tradicional tendrá representación a través de Orfebres Santamaría, Ortiz Cincelador y Peris i Roca, talleres referencia en su sector. Y para completar el conjunto de indumentaria fallera contaremos con la marca Realce, líderes en la fabricación de mallas de pelo, y especialistas en moños de fallera. Los blusones, ropa fallera “casual”, estarán representados por Entre Lazos y Dedales.
Entrando en el capítulo moda para eventos de particular tendrá presencia Boovier en moda de mujer. Recordemos que esta última ha sido pionera en la utilización de sedas falleras en la confección de moda fiesta y ha vestido en numerosos actos a la FMV 2016, Alicia Moreno.
En el mundo fallero también hay cabida para la innovación y el diseño de nuevos elementos y en este segmento tendrán presencia marcas como: En flama, con camisetas y complementos falleros, MissArte, merchandising y diseño gráfico fallero y Moñaditas.com, con toda una colección propia de elementos falleros y papelería, Silu, complementos para falleros realizados en madera y Lu&Pa con su personalización artesanal de textiles.
