La falla Avinguda guanya el xiquet més típica i millor conjunt del Cant de l’Estoreta, organitzat per Sant Roc
La representació de Lluís Vives es va alçar amb el premi al Xiquet més típica, de la falla Avinguda, mentre que els xiquets d’aquesta comissió van guanyar amb la posada en escena del «Tractat d’Alçmirra»
Un any més la plaça de Sant Roc torna a acollir la tradició, el cant i la recuperació de fets històrics, gremis perduts i tradicions de la Comunitat València en la 38a edició del veterà concurs infantil del Cant de l’Estoreta. En total, 10 falles van participar per representar moments curiosos del folklore i tradició valenciana en una de les cita clau a les portes de la setmana fallera.
La falla Avinguda va aconseguir emportar-se el premi al millor conjunt amb una representació del Tractat D ‘Alçmirra. Un pacte entre el rei Jaume I i Alfons, Infant de Castella, fixant la frontera pel sud de l’antic Regne de València. Alhora, aquesta comissió va guanyar el premiar el Xiquet més típic amb la seua representació de Lluís Vives, humanista, filòsof i pedagog valencià.
Per la seua banda el premi al millor cant, atorgat per la falla Sant Roc, se’l va emportar la falla II Tram Avinguda, mentre que aquest mateix premi, atorgat per Junta Local Fallera, va anar a parar a la falla Sant Roc. El millor conjunt premiat per Junta Local va ser parell Sant Roc i la seua representació del tradicional Betlem del teatre Antoniano i el xiquet més típica per a la falla Avinguda.
L’alcaldessa de Torrent, Amparo Folgado, al costat de la Falleres Majors de Torrent, Ester Veguer i Maria Bartual, amb els seus Corts d’Honor, van presenciar aquest tradicional concurs, al costat dels màxims representants de la falla Sant Roc, organitzadora de l’esdeveniment. Així doncs, el conjunt de premis atorgats per la Falla Sant Roc a les falles participants en el XXXVIII Concurs del Cant de l’Estoreta van ser:
