La Junta Local de Turís ha organizado este año por primera vez la presentación conjunta de los bocetos de las cinco comisiones que existen actualmente en la localidad. Se trata de un acto inédito hasta ahora que persigue fomentar la importancia del monumento desde la hermandad fallera y publicitar la actividad turisana con respecto a la fiesta.
Se contó con la presencia de los presidentes de cada una de las comisiones (Els Barris, Plaça del Mercat, Placeta del Marqués, Avda. Corts Valencianes y L’Antiga Fontanella) así como las máximas representantes de cada una de ellas para 2014. Así pues ya es posible conocer los diez monumentos entre mayores e infantiles que se plantarán en Turís durante las próximas fallas que, como ya es tradicional, se celebrarán después de San José. Concretamente de los días 27 al 30 de marzo.
De hecho las comisiones turisanas, desde sus respectivos presupuestos, apuestan firmemente por la dignidad del monumento fallero, auténtico santo y seña de esta fiesta, y muestra de ello es que plantarán artistas reconocidos como Salvador Dolz, José Lafarga, José Ramón Espuig (maestro mayor del gremio de artistas falleros), Pere Baenas o Vicente Espeleta.
Al mismo tiempo se dio a conocer el que será cartel anunciador de las fallas de 2014, obra del joven Víctor Montero. El autor es vicepresidente de la falla Placeta del Marqués y asegura que es “toda una satisfacción ganar el concurso de las fallas de mi pueblo y un orgullo que mi cartel las represente”.
Sobre la imagen ganadora, Víctor explica que es un enamorado “del monumento fallero y de la indumentaria así que pensé en realizar una composición con ambas cosas a través de una fallera convertida en ninot”. El detalle del ramo de flores tiene que ver “con la representación del inicio de la primavera”.
