La nova Diputació continuarà recolzant tant l’esport base com la Volta Ciclista a la Província de València, tal com ha manifestat aquest matí la diputada provincial de Joventut, Esport i Igualtat, Isabel García, en el transcurs de la presentació de la cinquena edició de la volta ciclista, finançada íntegrament per la corporació provincial.
El president de la Federació de Ciclisme de la Comunitat Valenciana, Amadeo Olmos, ha agraït a la Diputació «el seu continu suport amb la federació i especialment amb el projecte de la volta ciclista».
Per la seua banda, la marca turística de la institució provincial, València,Terra i Mar, disposa d’un equip propi de ciclisme en les categories de cadet, juvenil i sub-23.
