El Circuito Divina Pastora Seguros de Carreras Populares de Valencia regresa el próximo 15 de octubre con la VIII Volta a Peu de les Falles. Una carrera emblemática, con 6.200 metros de recorrido, que pasará por las calles más céntricas de la ciudad de Valencia, como la Plaza de la Virgen, la Plaza de la Reina o la calle de la Paz.
La salida de la prueba estará situada en la calle de las Barcas y la meta justo bajo la fachada principal del Ayuntamiento de la ciudad.
La carrera ha sido organizada en colaboración con la Junta Central Fallera y el Club Runners Ciutat de València, entidades que aportan voluntarios de sus organizaciones para reforzar el correcto desarrollo de la competición.
Como ya ocurriese en la última carrera del Circuito, la Volta a Peu de Sant Marcel·lí y Sant Isidre, en esta ocasión también es posible participar en las nuevas modalidades de marcha a pie y marcha nórdica. De este modo, quienes los deseen, pueden realizar la prueba de una manera más pausada y con un requerimiento físico menor. Al igual que en la anterior, las modalidades de marcha a pie y marcha nórdica no son competitivas.
Las inscripciones para participar en la Volta a Peu de les Falles, tanto en la carrera competitiva como para las modalidades de marcha a pie y marcha nórdica, estarán abiertas hasta el 12 de octubre a las 20:00 horas, desde el siguiente enlace https://goo.gl/RU2Kay.
Ahora bien, las inscripciones para la marcha a pie también pueden hacerse de manera presencial el mismo día de la carrera, presentándose en la zona de salida entre las 7:30 h y las 8:55 h.
El coste de la inscripción es de 2.55 euros para los corredores y de 1,00 euro para los marchadores a pie, el cual va destinado íntegramente a la asociación AVATCOR, entidad solidaria del evento.
Las salidas el día de la carrera estarán ordenadas por tiempos y habrá en total tres. En primer lugar, los corredores con dorsal preferente a las 9:00 horas, el resto de corredores a las 9:04 h y, por último, los participantes en la modalidad de marcha a pie y marcha nórdica a las 9:06 horas.
En cuanto a la recogida de dorsales y chips, la organización recomienda la retirada anticipada, personándose el día 13 de octubre, entre las 17:00 h y las 21:00 h, en el Complejo Deportivo Cultural Petxina (Paseo de la Petxina, 42). También es posible recogerlos en la zona de salida de la prueba, el mismo día de la carrera, entre las 7.30 horas y las 8.55 horas.
