Fotos: Duarte Photo.- Las Falleras Mayores de Valencia, Estefanía López y María Donderis, acompañadas de sus respectivas Cortes de Honor, y de los concejales Francisco Lledó, Miquel Domínguez y Vicente Igual, han dado la salida esta mañana a un acto ya tradicional de las fiestas falleras: El Rally Fallas de l’Antigor, que alcanza su XLV edición y que ha partido de la Plaza del Ayuntamiento para recorrer durante dos días parte de la Comunidad Valenciana.
Participan en esta XLV edición del Rally, en el que se entregan un total de diez trofeos, el primero de los cuales lleva el nombre de su Majestad el Rey, un total de 34 vehículos antiguos, o históricos, entre los que hay Rolls Royce, Bentley, Mercedes Benz, Ford, Packard, Chevrolet, Aston Martín e incluso un Bugatti que perteneció a la cantante francesa Edith Piaf.
Del total de participantes, aproximadamente diez son de propietarios valencianos, a los que se suman en esta Ronda Fallera vehículos históricos llegados de lugares como Oviedo, Madrid, Canarias o Palma de Mallorca. Entre los conductores de estos vehículos los ha habido que hoy han lucido indumentaria de la misma época que sus coches.
Frente a la fachada del Ayuntamiento, antes de dar comienzo a la salida del Rally con dirección a Cullera, se han sumado a los coches participantes dos vehículos antiguos de la Policía Local de Valencia.
Este Rally Fallas de l’Antigor concluirá el próximo día 8, después de haber superado obstáculos como el Coll de Rates.
