Muchas han sido las voces que han baticinado en los últimos días mal tiempo de cara a la tarde de hoy miércoles 18 de marzo, aún así los falleros, impulsados por su devoción a la Mare de Dèu dels Desamparats han acudido a su cita ineludible del calendario fallero con la Ofrenda floral a la Geperudeta.
Desde las 15:30 horas se ha reanudado el río de falleros cargados con flores para nuestra patrona ataviados con sus trajes tradicionales. Poco a poco el manto de la virgen se va confeccionando con claveles de colores alegrando el día gris.
Una segunda jornada de Ofrenda floral que se cerrará cuando pasada la media noche Estefanía López, Fallera Mayor de Valencia, ofrende sus flores acompañada por su Corte de Honor. Hasta ese momento se espera que miles de falleros recorran las céntricas calles de nuestra ciudad movidos por su devoción. Casi 54000 falleros hicieron entrada en el día de ayer y otros tantos se espera que desfilen en el día de hoy. Con sus más de 50000 ramos de flores se pretende ver finalizado el manto «María» que los vestidores de la Virgen han diseñado.
