Un any més les falles de la capital de l’Horta Sud han tingut una cita amb la seua història. Ahir es va presentar la revista oficial fallera de la ciutat El Granerer, que arriba a la seua edició número 43 i el primer nombre data del1973. A l’interior es recullen articles d’investigació que fan referència a la important declaració de les Falles de Torrent com Festes d’Interès Turístic Autonòmic. Entre les pàgines del Granerer trobem un resum de l’Expedient presentat a la Conselleria de Turisme on s’analitzen els més de 100 anys d’història de les nostres falles, l’arrelament, valor cultural i tradició, així com singularitats pròpies de la festa, com el trasllat de la Verge o el succés de la Tomba de les falles en 1957.
Aquest recorregut pel patrimoni de les falles de Torrent continua amb un homenatge a la persona que ha creat la primera imatge corporativa de Junta Local Fallera (el primer escut i de la seua evolució). L’artista de Torrent Antonio Fernandez Balbuena va ser l’encarregat de dissenyar, igual que els pergamins de recompenses, els pendons ornamentals dels actes de Junta Local i els estendards. Per això, Balbuena ha estat l’encarregat de dissenyar la portada d’aquest any. Una interpretació personal del Granerer, una pintura basada en una fotografia antiga, que rememora el Torrent de les primeres falles.
L’alcaldessa de Torrent, Amparo Folgado, va fer entrega dels exemplars a la Fallera Major de Torrent de 2015, Ester Veguer Montero, i la Fallera Major Infantil de Torrent, María Bartual Fernández. Les Corts d’Honor i els representants de les 29 comissions de la ciutat també van rebre un exemplar.
