Junta Local Fallera de Torrent va presentar en el mateix acte als 5 membres del jurat format per: Julio Tormo, Paloma Redondo, Francisco Romero, Judith Górriz i Vicent Albert
La recta final està cada vegada més a prop. El procés d’elecció de les Falleres Majors de Torrent enceta una nova fase amb la presentació a les candidates dels membres del jurat que- com ja és tradicional- ve acompanyada d’una master class plena de consells per a les candidates que opten al càrrec. El presentador especialitzat en falles, Jose Gonzalez, la Fallera Major Infantil de València de 2000, Paloma Redondo, i la Fallera Major de Torrent de 1988, Mari Carmen Royo, van impartir un col·loqui basat en tot allò que no es veu en la figura de les Corts i Falleres Majors.
Els presents van sentir curiositat pels moments de l’elecció, especialment la manera en com tractar a les que es queden fora de representar a la ciutat o com a membre de la cort d’Honor. El cansament, els possibles moments de tensió i comentaris que suscita la figura van ser també claus a la hora d’afrontar el regnat de la millor manera possible. Paloma Redondo i Mari Carmen Royo ho van saber transmetre des de la seua experiència personal, com a protagonistes, però també com a mare de representant de cort i germana de Fallera Major de Torrent en el cas de la última.
El millor consell va ser el rodejar-se de la família i amics pròxims, així com proveir-se de gran dosi de paciència i disfrutar d’un any en què prevalen les coses bones a les roïnes. A la seua vegada, Junta Local Fallera de Torrent va presentar els membres del jurat. Un grup multidisciplinari format per 5 membres (tal com arreplega l’actual reglament), cada un professional en la seua matèria, coneixedors del món faller, que buscarà una visió global d’esta figura que representa, no sols a una festa, sinó a tota la ciutat de Torrent. El jurat de Cort d’Honor i Fallera Major de Torrent 2016 és:
Julio Tormo (periodista Mediterraneo TV, especialitzat en festes, autor del llibre Falleres Majors de València), Paloma Redondo (Llicenciada en Administració i Direcció d’Empreses i FMIV 2000), Francisco Romero Taroncher (Diplomat en Infermeria, responsable de Distribució Comercial a Telefónica d’Espanya. President Federació de Falles de 1ª A), Judith Górriz (Llicenciada en comunicació audiovisual, blogger i Youtuber, Cort d’Honor FMV 2006) i Vicente Albert (artista faller, 50 anys al servei de la festa. Nomenat per Junta Central Fallera jurat de sector per a elecció de Corts d’honor en almenys 8 ocasions).
Ja ha començat el “Camí d’un somni 2016” per a les candidates. Des de fa setmanes Junta Local Fallera de Torrent ha posat en marxa el blog online per a seguir amb total transparència el procés d’elecció de les candidates. Entrevistes personals, sessions de fotos, entrevistes de vídeo i ahir esta xarrada on van compartir un pas més en el camí d’enguany.
