Las Falleras Mayores de Valencia y sus Cortes de Honor han sido invitadas un año más por la Federación de Folclore de la Comunidad Valenciana, presidida por Manuel Camarasa, a participar en la tradicional Dansà a la Mare de Deú que tendrá lugar dentro de las celebraciones en honor a la Patrona de Valencia, Ntra. Señora de los Desamparados.
Nuestras máximas representantes llevan semanas ensayando con gran ilusión y mucho esfuerzo para realizar el mejor trabajo posible y hacer disfrutar a todo el que asista a la gran cita del próximo sábado 9 de mayo, víspera de la fiesta grande. La dansà infantil será la encargada de iniciar la cita por la tarde, mientras que la dansá mayor tendrá lugar a medianoche.
El Centro Municipal de Personas Mayores de Benimaclet, en la calle Emilio Baró, es el espacio donde tienen lugar los ensayos desde el pasado mes de marzo bajo la dirección de Paco Corella, del grupo El Portalet de Benicalap.
La tarde del 27 de abril los medios de comunicación fueron testigos de uno de los últimos ensayos de la Fallera Mayor Infantil de Valencia, María Donderis, y su Corte de Honor, que bailarán en la Plaza de la Virgen junto a bailadores de distintos grupos de baile y comisiones falleras de edades comprendidas entre los 8 y 14 años.
La dansà que se interpretará, será la tradicional de los pueblos y comarcas de la Comunidad Valenciana «Passeig pla i passades de Ball de Comptes» con una duración aproximada de 30 minutos.
El ensayo general de la Dansà Infantil tendrá lugar el martes 5 de mayo en el Colegio Santa Bárbara a las 18 horas. Tal y como se ha avisado desde Secretaria de la Junta Central Fallera, a este ensayo deberán acudir todas las comisiones falleras inscritas.
