El concejal de Cultura Festiva del Ayuntamiento de València, Pere Fuset, ha presidido el sorteo de 360 plazas para que ciudadanos y ciudadanas de València puedan disfrutar desde el balcón municipal del ciclo de mascletades de Fallas. El sorteo, a través de un algoritmo, ha definido al azar qué personas han obtenido las 180 entradas dobles, a razón de 20 al día (10 personas seleccionadas por sorteo más 10 acompañantes). Este año han participado en el sorteo 16.238 personas residentes en València, casi 2.500 más que el año pasado. Fuset ha destacado que «por tercer año consecutivo el balcón del Ayuntamiento deja de ser solo para unos pocos y se abre por completo a la ciudadanía, a las comisiones falleras y a las juntas locales falleras de otras poblaciones», en referencia a los cuatro representantes de diversas juntas falleras locales que podrán acudir cada día al balcón municipal y también a las 28 personas que cada día representarán a siete comisiones falleras (cuatro por comisión), que este año, siguiendo el turno rotativo, serán aquellas cuyos números de censo esté comprendido entre el 208 (Escalante-Marina) y el 307 (Àngel Villena-Pintor Sabater). La lista de personas afortunadas en el sorteo se podrá consultar a partir de este viernes en la web municipal.
