Los socialistas urgen al Ayuntamiento a tomar medidas para evitar que se repita el caos de las pasadas fiestas
Pilar Calabuig ha mostrado su preocupación y acusa al equipo de gobierno de estar paralizado
La concejala del grupo municipal socialista Pilar Calabuig ha alertado sobre la “falta de previsión del PP ante la proximidad de las fallas”. “Todos recordamos la confusión que generó el año pasado la tramitación de los permisos de puestos de comida callejeros y a la sorpresiva intervención de hacienda en algunos casales, circunstancias que alteraron el normal desarrollo de las fiestas”, ha explicado.
“Es responsabilidad del Ayuntamiento garantizar que los ciudadanos puedan disfrutar de las fallas con la máxima tranquilidad y allanar el camino, a las comisiones, evitando caer en la improvisación como ocurrió el año pasado”, ha afirmado en referencia a la respuesta facilitada por el concejal de Fiestas, Francisco Lledó, a las preguntas realizadas por la edil socialista en el último pleno del Ayuntamiento.
En su contestación, ha criticado que Lledó “además de negar la existencia de problemas el año pasado asegura que la coordinación es igual a años anteriores, incorporando como novedad el adelanto de los plazos para presentación de documentos”, circunstancia que Calabuig ha considerado “insuficiente”.
“Preguntamos por las medidas para evitar la descoordinación que se dio el año pasado porque pensamos, que aunque algo tarde, aún se está a tiempo” considera Pilar Calabuig, quien por otra parte ha lamentado la “continua utilización política de la fiesta”. Ha reprochado al Gobierno local que mantenga “en el olvido numerosas asignaturas pendientes entre ellas que sean reconocidas por la UNESCO como Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de la Humanidad, que ayudaría a la protección y proyección de las fiestas”.
Los socialistas, ha recordado la edil, “hemos presentado iniciativas con carácter constructivo que han chocado con la falta de sensibilidad del equipo de Rita Barberá” quien “aplicando su rodillo ha frenado sistemáticamente cualquier iniciativa que saliera desde la oposición”. Así, ha recordado que su grupo presentó una propuesta para “la creación de una comisión no permanente, que debería elaborar una propuesta de funcionamiento y organización para desbloquear situaciones como la ocurrida en el 2013 y que fue rechazada por los votos del Partido Popular”.
Pilar Calabuig ha exigido al equipo de gobierno que salga de su “letargo” y les ha emplazado a “tomar medidas para que las fallas de este año se desarrollen con normalidad porque, ha advertido, es “fundamental para mantener el turismo”.
